BIOGRAPHY
Andrew brings a broad range of skills and knowledge to all of his current ventures, drawing on his colourful and varied life experiences.
THE 70’s
His first job was working as a ring-boy in the Hippodrome Circus of his home town, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.
He left circus life to study Hotel and Catering Mangement, from where employment in various Hotels & Restaurants, led him to the bright lights of London.
There he took a job first at Bermans & Nathans Theatrical Costumiers, then at The English National Opera. These jobs gave him an excellent grounding in the history of costume and helped develop his costume making skills.
Following his dream of wanting to become an Artist he went to study at Saint Martins School of Art in London. This was the time of Punk Rock and New Romantics, and Andrew was drawn into this exciting whirly-gig world of creativity and anarchy. After 4 years at St Martins, Andrew graduated with a 1st Class Honours Degree in Fashion & Textiles Design.
THE 80's
10 years followed running his own Fashion Business "Fryer & Gee", selling young street fashion in the Kings Road, Kensington Market and Harrods in London, Bloomingdales in New York, and exhibiting at major fashion fairs in London, Paris and Dusseldorf. His designs were featured in Vogue, Harpers & Queens, and other publications. He clothes were worn by such people as Sade, Steve Strange, Bob Geldof, and he created the costumes for Adam and the Ants' Prince Charming Tour.

THE 90’s
A recession hit UK at the end of the 80’s wiping out many successful businesses so
teaching in various Art Colleges in the south of England was Andrew’s way to get through the bad times.
A fateful meeting at a job interview gave him a contact to the School of Art &
Design in Seychelles Polytechnic. After a false start, Andrew took the plunge,
sold his Morris Minor and sewing machine, packed a suitcase and in April 1993 he
headed to the Seychelles on a low paid 2 year government contract.
Opportunities followed, working on Fashion Shows led to staging the
Miss Seychelles Beauty Pageant, which led to being an Artistic Director for the
Miss World Beauty Pageants held in Seychelles in 1996, 1997 and 1998.
